2. What Goldpages Is

Goldpages is an online classified advertising platform.
We provide a place where users can publish, browse, and respond to advertisements.
Our role is limited to providing the platform.

We do not:

• • Negotiate transactions
• • Act as an agent or representative for users
• • Provide referrals
• • Employ advertisers
• • Supervise services advertised on the platform
• • Participate in arrangements made between users

Any communication, arrangement, transaction, appointment, meeting, or service resulting from an advertisement takes place directly between the people involved.
Goldpages is not a party to those arrangements and is not responsible for them.

3. Eligibility

You may only use Goldpages if:

• • You are legally able to enter into binding agreements

If you publish such advertisements, you represent that:

• • The advertisement does not involve coercion, exploitation, trafficking, abuse, or unlawful activity

We may remove any advertisement that does not meet these standards.

8. Safety and Responsible Use

We want Goldpages to be a safe platform for all users.

You agree not to:

• • Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users

• • Interfere with the operation of the platform

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.

9. Human Trafficking and Exploitation

Goldpages maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding human trafficking, child exploitation, coercion, forced labour, sexual exploitation, and abuse.

You may not use Goldpages to advertise, facilitate, promote, coordinate, recruit for, or profit from any activity involving:

We may remove content, suspend accounts, preserve records, and cooperate with authorities where we believe there may be a safety concern or legal violation.

10. No Agency or Referral Relationship

Advertisers and users operate independently.

Nothing on Goldpages creates:

• • An employment relationship
• • An agency relationship
• • A partnership
• • A joint venture
• • A referral arrangement
• • A brokerage relationship
• • A representative relationship

Goldpages does not recommend, endorse, certify, employ, supervise, or manage advertisers.
The fact that an advertisement appears on the platform does not mean we approve or verify it.

11. Memberships and Paid Services

Goldpages may offer memberships, profile upgrades, featured listings, promotional products, advertising packages, and other paid services.
Descriptions of available services and pricing will be published on the platform.
We may change pricing, features, or availability from time to time.
Memberships and paid services improve visibility and platform features. They do not guarantee responses, appointments, inquiries, revenue, or business success.

12. Payments

Fees are payable using payment methods accepted by Goldpages.
Unless stated otherwise, all fees are charged in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes.
You are responsible for any fees charged by your payment provider, bank, or card issuer.

13. Refunds

All sales are final.

We are not required to provide refunds because:

• • An advertisement did not perform as expected
• • You changed your mind
• • You did not use a purchased service
• • Your account was suspended for violating these Terms;
• • Platform performance did not meet your expectations

Where a refund is provided, it will normally be returned to the original payment method.

Nothing in this section limits any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

14. Chargebacks

If you dispute a payment or initiate a chargeback, we may temporarily suspend the associated account while the matter is reviewed.
We may provide transaction records and account information to financial institutions involved in the investigation.
Repeated chargebacks may result in account termination.

15. Intellectual Property

The Goldpages website, software, branding, logos, design elements, databases, and platform features belong to Goldpages or its licensors.
Except as permitted by law or with our written permission, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or exploit our intellectual property.

16. Copyright Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights.
If you believe content on Goldpages infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us with details of the alleged infringement.
We may remove content while a complaint is investigated.

17. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.
Our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA where applicable.

18. Service Availability

• • Disputes between users
• • Losses arising from reliance on user content
• • Conduct occurring on or off the platform

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of Goldpages will not exceed that greater of:

• (a) CAD $10; or
• (b) the amount paid by you to Goldpages during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

21. Your Responsibility to Us

You agree to compensate Goldpages for losses, claims, damages, costs, or expenses arising from:

• • Your interactions with other users
• • Your breach of these Terms

This obligation continues after your account is closed.

22. Investigations and Enforcement

You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Advertising Policy, and any other policies incorporated by reference, form the entire agreement between you and Goldpages regarding your use of the platform.
